Annapurna base camp trek with Helicopter flight back

Day 1 : Drive and trek to Chhomrong
Drive with your guide and porter from Pokhara to Nayapul and further to the Jhinu danda suspension bridge. The trail then climbs steeply to Chhomrong in three hours.
Day 2 : Trek to Dovan
The path leading from Chhomrong descends via stone steps to Chhomrong River, then ascends to Sinuwa village at 2,400 m. It then meanders along the mountainside through a Rhododendron forest before descending to Bamboo village in approximately 5 hours. Subsequently, the trail gradually ascends for an additional hour to Dovan village at 2,500 m.
Day 3 : Trek to Deurali
From Dovan, the trail continues to ascend gradually, winding along the Modi River valley to the small lodge settlement, Himalaya, situated at 2,900 m. Moving forward from Himalaya, the trail ascends more steeply on stone steps and crosses a wide rocky area formed by an avalanche. Deurali is approximately 5 hours away from Dovan.
Day 4 : Trek to ABC
Following the upstream Modi River, the trail traverses a picturesque valley with views of Annapurna III and Mt. Fishtail. At the end of the valley, it ascends to Machhapuchhre base camp located high up on the glacial moraine at the junction of two valleys. After a light lunch, continue ascending gradually along the glacial moraine to a pasture with a few lodges, which serves as the southern base camp of Annapurna.
Day 5 : Fly back to Pokhara by Helicopter
Witness the sunrise over the snow-capped peaks encircling the base camp. Enjoy breakfast at the most scenic place in the world while waiting for a helicopter to come to pick you up. Admire the aerial view of the Annapurna massif and watch down the deep valley you trekked through.
Short ABC Trek Itinerary
While helicopter flight offers aerial views of the Himalayas and escapes the tedious downhill and off road drive back to Pokhara, some trekkers prefer to walk and drive back. This is also an option in case the weather turns bad for the helicopter to land.It just takes 1 night and 2 days to get back to Pokhara in case the weather turns bad or you prefer to walk down and drive back. The short Annapurna base camp could be organized within 5 nights and 6 days in case someone wants to walk back.

Day 5 : Trek back to Sinuwa
Enjoy the sunrise over the snow peaks arranged in 360-degree around base camp. After breakfast, head down the valley to the Sinuwa village or to Chhomrong. The walk is about 8 - 9 hours.
Day 6 : Trek to Jhinu and drive back to Pokhara
Cover the rest of the journey to our pick up point at Jhinu danda suspension bridge. The walking of about 2 - 5 hours depending upon where you arrive a day earlier. Drive back to Nayapul and further to Pokhara.
