When is the best time for the Nepal Tour?
Unlike trekking, the Nepal tour season spans from September to May, i.e., from Autumn till Spring. Since the tour visits the tropical and subtropical foothills of the Himalayas, the temperature remains moderate with bright and sunny days and clear skies throughout these months. While Autumn and Spring see more tourists, the winter months are relatively quieter. September has some cloudy days with rain in the late afternoon or night as the monsoon rain subsides. Winter mornings and nights are a bit chilly in the hill stations. The month of April and May is best for Tiger sighting in the Baridya tour.
What is transportation like?
We have good, reliable, spacious, and comfortable cars with professional and experienced drivers who know the road well.
How is the road condition?
Since the tour drives on the main highway, road conditions in the Nepal tour are good. Roads are two-lane and snake along the mountain valleys. So driving is slow with breaks to enjoy the landscape. In Terai (lowland Lumbini and Brdriya), the road is straighter and wider.
How is the accommodation and food?
Accommodation and food in this Nepal tour are excellent, with a mixture of boutique resorts and standard hotels that cater to organic food with a Western flavor. Accommodation will have spacious rooms with modern amenities like AC and a private bathroom with a hot shower. They mostly serve organic foods fresh from the farm in continental, Nepali, and Indian options.
How difficult is the tour?
The Nepal overland tour with Bardiya National Park is an easy tour with gentle nature walks and cultural sightseeing. Instead of trekking, the tour includes driving to some serene mountain locations to stay in nature and an authentic village. Maximum elevation is about 1,900 m only, and the availability of a proper standard hotel/resort with an ensuite bathroom, hot shower, Air conditioning, and soft bed in the natural setting makes the Nepal tour rejuvenating.
