Nepal Family Tour Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrive Kathmandu
You will be received at Kathmandu Airport by our representative. Kathmandu is a melting pot of immigrants from all over Nepal. An interesting 20 minutes drive through the hustle and bustle of this ancient city, and you will find yourself in a relaxing Hotel with ample amenities to keep your kids busy. Ask for a guided evening walk or spend time with your family.
Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing
You will be received at Kathmandu Airport by our represent. Kathmandu is a melting pot of immigrants from all over Nepal. An interesting 20 minutes drive through hustle and bustle of this ancient city, and you will find yourself in a relaxing Hotel with ample amenities to keep your kids busy. Ask for a guided evening walk or spend time with your family.
Day 3 : Drive to Riverside camp
We will drive three hours through the countryside to our riverside camp. The drive is full of natural scenery from Himalayan Peaks to subtropical river valleys. Our Riverside camp is highly private, comfortable safari style cottages with a serene environment and undisturbed river view. We will put our luggage in our room and change to get a splash of refreshing Himalayan water. Our River fun begins as we drift in an inflatable rubber boat. The put in point and take out point will be chosen according to your quest of adventure making it perfect for your family and kids. You will be given to wear a life-vest and helmet throughout the river trip. A professional and experienced team will lead this private family trip. Kayak escorts the boat if needed. Camping games, campfire, barbeque, singing and dancing.
Day 4-5 : Drive to Chitwan | Jungle Safari
After breakfast, we will get down to the highway to Chitwan National Park. Chitwan National park is declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. A resort in a natural ambiance has a lot going on from a wide variety of birds to crocodile habitat nearby with a pool to wallow in. An escorted Jungle walk, visit to Elephant breeding center and sunset view followed by Tharu cultural show is exciting for your kids.
Day 6 : Drive to Pokhara | Explore
Drive to Pokhara after breakfast. This scenic drive will take about 4 hrs. Walk along the Phewa Lakeside and dine in a fine restaurant for lunch. You have the option of Phewa Lake boating or hike 50 minutes to World peace pagoda for sunset view in the late afternoon.
Day 7 : Pokhara Tour
The lake city of Pokhara is ground for adventure sports as well as nature exploration. You can choose activities that interest your family or kids most. We will keep the activities flexible.
Activities : Sunrise view over the Himalayas from Sarangkot, World Peace Stupa hiking, International Mountain Museum, Devi's Fall, Bhalam suspension bridge and Tibetan Refugee camp.As an alternative, an easy day hiking around Pokhara could be planned. There are also adventure sports like paragliding, ultralight flight, Zip flying for grown up kids and adults.
It is also popular to take helicopter trips to Mardi Himal base camp and Kori danda which allows you to step in the highland ground and feel the trek destinations without strenuous, multydays trek.
Day 8 : Fly to Kathmandu | Bhaktapur & Patan Tour
The 25 minutes flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu is a panoramic thrill. On a clear day one can see Himalayan peaks of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and Langtang ranges. We will visit Bhaktapur and Patan in the afternoon. There is an option of visiting an organic farm and dine in the farmhouse learning about organic farming.
Day 9: Drive to the airport for final departure

Short trek around Pokhara could be planned based on comfortable teahouses (with ensuite bathrooms) for 3 days. It is also possible to do popular treks to Poon Hill or Annapurna base camp based on simple teahouses.
When is best time for the family tour ?

Yes, It is very helpful to have a porter to carry kids whenever they feel tired so you can go as planned. You can bring a baby carrier for toddlers.
