Annapurna Luxury Lodge Trek Itinerary
DAY 1: DRIVE TO Birethanti | TREK TO Ghandruk (1,950 m)
After breakfast, drive for about one hour to Nayapul in Pokhara Baglung highway. It is now possible to drive further to the base of Ghandruk and customize the day's walking. The trail climbs from about 1,100 m to 1950 m in about 5 hours. Ghandruk is one of the largest Gurung villages with Annapurna South, Huinchuli and Mt Fishtail towards the eastern background .
DAY 2: Easy Day hike | Village Tour
Spend a beautiful morning with scrumptious breakfast and morning view of the Himalayas. Later go on a village tour or a hike to Kot danda for about 5 hours. A Gurung museum and an Annapurna conservation project office have great information about the culture, geology and ecology.
DAY 3: TREK TO LANDRUK (1,565 m)
Spend another beautiful morning with the view of changing colors of the snow peaks. Later trek to Landruk. The trail first goes down steeply on stone steps through the terraces to the Modi River basin and then climbs on the other side to another Gurung village perched at 1,565 m. The village has a stunning view of the Modi River valley with views of snow peaks on the top.
DAY 4: TREK TO DHAMPUS (1,650 m)
The trail from Landruk follows a contour and winds through charming villages towards west at first and then climbs to the ridgetop village of Pitam Deurali at 2,100 m. From there the trail winds through beautiful Rhododendron forest to Dhampus village with an entire panoramic view of Annapurna range.
DAY 5: TREK TO ASTAM (7 Hrs / 4,500 m)
Enjoy another beautiful morning with a panoramic view of the Annapurna range. The trail mostly follows the mountain ridge with aweinspirig view of lush valleys and layers of mountains with snow peaks in the backdrop. The trail passes through the charming villages, wooded areas and terraces with photo opportunities at each corner. At the end of the five hours walk, we arrive to the ridgetop village of Astam.
DAY 6: TREK DOWN TO MILAN CHOWK | DRIVE BACK TO POKHARA
Astam is overlooking the Pokhara valley and manifold layers of mountains with Annapurna South and Mt fishtail dominating the view. Enjoy another morning in the serene mountain village with up close view of snow peaks and walk down the wooded ridge to Milanchowk where our ride will be waiting to drive us back to Pokhara.

The trek typically starts and ends in Nayapul, with stops at several picturesque villages and viewpoints along the way.
Common stops include Ghandruk, Landruk, Tomijong, Dhampus and Astam.
The trek offers panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machapuchare, and other surrounding peaks.
